Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cookeville, an IHG Hotel

Rooms were okay, the person who checked me in was not the nicest. My shower only had hot water, the know to move temperature was not on the controller. The AC didn’t work properly so the room was hot all night. The front desk person on check out didn’t seem to care about the issues I had. There was no Hot breakfast due to oven being broke the day before which the front desk didn’t tell me when checking in.

A very good place to stay in. Spacious and clean rooms. Comfortable beds, good size bathroom, TV, Coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave. It's pretty much what you need in every single room. Free and very good tasty breakfast. Clean facilities. 24-hour Coffee bar. Gym, pool, computer desks and charging ports at the lobby. Very friendly service. I'd stay here again

Holiday inn is my go-to place for accommodations. When I'm on the road traveling. They have a certain standard that they do a great job maintaining. Some are better than others. This one was fine. I enjoyed my stay, rooms. Were exceptionally clean, friendly staff above average breakfast.

It wasn't a terrible experience, but I would have struggled in our room for more than one night because of the moisture. It was so damp that the bathroom still had visible moisture on surfaces in the morning after taking showers 9 hrs earlier the night before. You can see from the rust on the door hinge, this isn't a new issue.

I guess I went into the whole "Hotel" thing with to high of expectations. I expected there to be working key cards, i expected the phone to work if i needed help, and expected there to be no cockroaches.. My expectations were too high, they failed on the whole experience. How is the "regional manager" gonna say that's not even our floor, calling me a liar. Please don't have ur children sleep on the floor... I have a picture I posted above of the cockroach. The regional manager said he didn't care if I posted the picture...
