Holiday Inn Express & Suites Crossville, an IHG Hotel

I am an IHG member, and when traveling choose Holiday Inn Express when possible. I would say the quality associated with each property varies widely. While they have most of the same amenities, the quality varies. Upon walking to my room, the person across from me had plumbing issues. . . When I arrived in my room, I began to see why. . . I am not the smallest guy, but there was a tight squeeze (no pun intended). The plunger was out all nite, so I hope my neighbor is okay . . . On the good side, the service was super fast and friendly. My guess is the plunger arrived quickly to their room!

Very clean. Some minor esthetic touches were missing. The shower head needed replaced. The decorative lamp in the corner had a busted shade and would not turn on. The room was clean. Nice staff. Good breakfast.

We were traveling through the area with a senior citizen group when we had to stop in Crossville for a medical emergency. I called from the ER to reserve two rooms and received verbal confirmation for our reservations. After paying for an Uber to the hotel, we found that our reservations were "non-existent." However, the rude employee, who was on her cell phone and reluctant to get up form the lobby seating to greet us, did inform of that she had a reservation for two rooms for five nights, and was forthcoming with the name on that reservation. She then preceded to read off the entire hotel guest list to us before I asked that she call her manager. He could do nothing for us either. We had to call the Uber for yet another ride to another Crossville hotel. Mr. Uber was wonderful! However, this was absolutely the worst experience as a Diamond Elite member ever! Shame on your service and lack of security for your guests!

Pleasantly surprised with the room size of the suite. Decent breakfast and great cookies/coffee at check in. Check out Gondola's for dinner; we got the recommendation from staff and were glad for it. No complaints!

Great location near I40 in Crossville. Front desk and other employees were friendly and helpful. Room was nice, bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable and the a/c was not too noisy. We will stay here again next time we're in the area.
