Promotional Information:

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fredericksburg offers a comfortable stay with a nice pool and decent breakfast. Reviews highlight friendly reception staff but also mention housekeeping issues, room wear and tear, and limited trailer parking. The hotel was good. The reception ladies were very friendly. They have a very nice pool. My daughter and niece loved it. Breakfast was decent. The only thing I didn't like was the housekeeping employees, who kept their carts in the middle of the hallway and no care in the world if people needed to go through. They definitely loved talking to each other and not even a hi or good morning. We greeted them every time, but they were to busy talking to each other. Other than that, everything else was good. Overall a good experience and would stay again if needed. The room was clean but had some signs of wear and tear. Nothing that is a deal breaker but you can tell it's not brand new. Refrigerator was a little rusty inside, we still used it. Shower curtain had a hole. The pull out sofa mattress was very flat and probably needs replaced as you roll to the middle. The room was COLD!!! It's rare we're in a hotel that we have to keep turning the temp up it's so cold. Definitely not a complaint in Texas. Breakfast was simple but good and fresh. We did need parking for a trailer and had to park on the street along with other vehicles pulling trailers (we were there for a car show). Again, not a deal breaker but something to be aware of if you're pulling a trailer.

I could not get over how friendly everyone was. This place had a huge pool with a lazy river and two slides. We couldn't believe how nice it was. The sitting area had a warm fire and the hot tub was amazing after a fun day shopping. I am looking forward to coming back in the summer and bringing the kiddos. Yummy breakfast. Thank u . I highly recommend.

Our stay started out decent. The staff did their best to accommodate me when I couldn't shower in our room due to my shower chair not fitting in the bathtub. (I am in a wheelchair) However. My family in another room found several cockroaches in their room and had to be moved to another room. They did get comped a little bit. THEN we found 4 cockroaches in our room. I insisted on being moved to the top floor to hopefully get as far away from them as possible seeing as we had no where else to stay. They didn't have any handicap accessible rooms available up top, but figured I could manage. It was difficult. When we spoke with the person at the front desk, she actually argued with us about how this town is expensive and we knew the cost coming in. We didn't pay to sleep with cockroaches. She handled the entire situation unprofessionally and as of right now I am still paying full price. We have not been comped. She blamed the entire situation on us. I have never dealt with such hostility in a hotel environment.

The stay here was ok, except for the refrigerator that buzzes like a bug zapper so loud and continuously that my ears were ringing, and the petrified booger farm on the shower curtain, and walls and ceiling made of paper that transferred the conversations and soccer playing elephants above me into my brain while trying to sleep. Also, parents, don't let your idiot children stomp back and forth and back and forth until 11:30 pm PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, thank you. And when you yourself walk back and forth over and over, you don't need to stomp through the floor. Your brain can tell you when you've taken a step without having to hear it.
