Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville - Mayport / Beach, an IHG Hotel

Came in from Orlando, had a a reservation the front agent her name was Britany hopefully I spelled her name correctly she was beyond amazing! She helped me with all my question and concerns, the rooms were great! Big,clean, and had fridge, microwave, and coffee maker! One of our rooms was a King with a hot tub/ jacuzzi in it I loved it! Breakfast was great many options I will be back!

Sure, the first night, we had a family with 3 kids staying above us, and I complained to the desk personnel, and she stayed they were only staying one night. We we're able to get any sleep. They were up just about all night. When we returned to the hotel, I was assured by the same desk personal that the family was gone. However, about 7ish, the same events began to happen. I called down to the desk, and she said it was a couple. Why would you assign that room for another night if you just had a complaint the night before? We'll we finally told her we wanted to move. She moved us across the hall. That was no better. It was someone above us still. I explained to her that we had an eight drive in the morning and needed to get some rest. Her non carrying attitude is what really upset me. She was NOT trying to help us at all. I told her I was contacting IGH, and she just shrugged her shoulders. This hotel is way below any of the other IHG hotels I have visited. While checking out, I saw the maid cleaning room 224( the roo. We checked out of the night before), remaking the bed and not changing the sheets. My daughter and I slept in our own beds.

This was by far the worst experience we’ve had at an IHG property in the past 15 years. The late afternoon front desk clerk seemed unhappy and unwelcoming when new guests arrived around 4 PM. Her attitude was rude, and she appeared miserable in her role. The room was filthy, and the bathroom was in terrible condition (dirty and smelly). Despite being a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids), we were only given two towels, no cups, and barely any toilet paper, even after repeatedly requesting these essentials. Additionally, the noise level was unacceptable, with guests walking and talking loudly throughout the night. We will not be returning to this hotel.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone no matter what the reason they needed to travel near Mayport or Atlantic Beach. The the rooms are very clean. The bed and linen are fresh and the rooms are clean daily. I couldn’t take them enough for the cleanliness of my room and the quality of furnishings in the rooms. I’ve had breakfast several times in the morning. The food is always fresh hot and there’s a great variety of food to eat. Thank you for your kindness and the courtesy I’ve been shown since I’ve been here. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who would be visiting the area for a price cost and the courteous staff that work here bless all of you for the job you do, which is beyond well done thank you. We stayed here on our way home from the Keys. CK in a breeze, room clean, comfy, hubby loved the pillows! Bathroom clean! Nice area to walk our dog, which is a big deal when he's been riding for hours. No extra dog fee. Quiet, slept well. Breakfast is more that your basic. Omelet was good with a good selection. We will def stay here again
