Parking spaces are limited and share with another hotel chain. Front desk was nice until I questioned why they overcharged us for our room. I asked why they overcharged over the rate in which we reserved the room and she said the rate changed Oct 1st, although I booked online Oct 15th. She refused to honor the rate we reserved and confirmed at, called corporate who agreed they can't do that and must honor the reserved rate which they confirmed and would look into it. Still awaiting response. Other than that the room seemed OK except for the blind was broke and the TV remote didn't work and was taped together. The front desk gladly replaced it. Update- The Hotel manager was contacted and fixed the overcharge and apologized for the mix up.
As a Silver Elite club member, my experience was horrible on Dec 17th at 1:30 am. After arriving late because of flight delays, my reservation was canceled without notification. When I arrived, the employee was watching movies and eating chips. He was completely unprofessional. Licking his fingers, cheeto crumbs on his shirt. He did not even wash his hands prior to handling cards and paperwork for my coworker. Overall, he was completely nasty and sloppy. He even had the nerve to be rude as well. Is this a representation of IHG?
I didn't have a safety latch on my door, I'm a single woman with a child. I didn't not feel safe. The bed was ok, room was cleanish.
Rooms clean ! Staff nice and polite! The one entrance is a little bit inconvenient side door is there but used for exit card wont work for it . Parking is limited up front. Pool is in the basement never seen that before. Food all around is a def..plus. Thank you for the nice stay .
Several of our rooms were not clean at check-in, and we arrived at 9 PM. One of the parties in our group had to have their room reassigned twice because the first two were unacceptable, due to bodily fluid stains, a dirty toilet, strong cigarette odor, and black mold on the A/C. The housekeeping team should have flagged these rooms for further cleaning rather than allow them to be assigned at the expense of the time of tired travelers. The front desk was helpful in getting rooms reassigned, but the housekeeping could have been a lot better. The hotel has not been renovated to the newer, more modern Holiday Inn Express decor, but that shouldn’t affect cleanliness.
