Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ocala, an IHG Hotel

I'm currently staying at this hotel and couldn't wait to leave a message. The staff is the friendliest group of people I've ever met while staying at a hotel. The rooms are clean and the service is amazing. Breakfast is served everyday. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn location.

Just check out this morning and I have to say, this was probably the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in lately. The lady on night duty was very comforting and kind, we got in after midnight. The bedroom was fantastic, super clean and the bedsheets felt like heaven. I literally have nothing I could possibly complain about. Outstanding hotel! I had a recent awful experience with Holiday Inn at another location in a different state. This Ocala location has definitely reassured me Holiday Inn does have some amazing hotels still. I recommend staying at this location. The breakfast was great too!

Checked in last night. Got to the room then I go to the restroom, tried to wash my hands and there is no soap. They have the refillable pumps on the wall which are great if they actually refill them. The key I gave to my mom would not work they reprogrammed it. It still doesn't work. I stopped by the front desk to make them aware the guy was on the phone. Asked me what I wanted while he was still on the phone I told him my concerns he acted as if he didnt care. We always stop at this exit but we won't be coming back here.

I wanted to give 5 stars across the board, but my interactions with Sherrie left me scratching my head. Our checked in was amazing! The agent was extremely personable, polite, smiling and engaging! My encounter with Sherrie was another story. She isn’t friendly, stone faced and brash to say the least. Her tone will literally piss you off. At first I thought it was me, listening her talk to other guests during my stay it didn’t seem or sound any better! I’m not sure of her position at the hotel, but good luck with altering her demeanor and tone! Other than her, the hotel itself was clean, well lit and maintained. The rooms were clean! I recommend this property based upon aesthetics and cleanliness!

We have stayed at this location many times. It's always clean, excellent staff and location is great. Near many restaurants and shopping. I will definitely be staying there again!
