Holiday Inn Express & Suites Paso Robles

Came in kind of late and Clayton, who was working the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Found the room to be very comfortable and clean and well kept. The morning we had breakfast and it was excellent. The staff in the kitchen was also very helpful. Great place to stay good value for the price. Will definitely recommend it and stay again. Very dog friendly!

See photos. Chair is damaged. TV does not work- no signal. Called front desk and clerk told me to reset. I reset 10 times however either I got “no signal” message or when I got to the Guide, and try to watch a particular channel, I would just a notice indicating that “ bad /inclement weather or contact the front desk”. I had to use my cell phone to log into the app to watch the new year celebrations. . Gym: One of the treadmill is broken, and the second one did not operate properly for example, I could not use the interval training feature. While I was working out, the light went out possibly because of the timer being set at a certain time in trouble. I Had to get off the treadmill and because of the motion sensor, the light came back on. Location of the hotel does not inspire confidence to return to this location. Breakfast lines were long because all of the breakfast items are against one wall and people having to pick up the plates, choosing the right food item and specifically starting to make pancakes, which takes forever and slows the line down. Biscuits were half cooked. Orange juice was watery and did not taste good. I can go on and on.

Great location. Checked in at 930 no one available to help with luggage. One front desk staff and she was pleasant. It was Thanksgiving day so I wasn't too upset that no one was there to help. I just hope that it was because of the holiday and not a regular thing.

The hotel is basically impeccable. If there is 6 stars I would give 6. Room: 1. Morden furnishing and looks mint. Bedding is clean. Bathroom is sparkling clean. Water pressure of shower is the highest I had in the past few years. Also devils in details: they made the towel ties in two places — it may be a trivial thing for you but it shows the detail-orientation the housekeeping has. A bad housekeeping would not even care do this for you. 2. Service: Amazing! Can you imagine a new set of towel delivered to you after 5 mins of calling the front desk, during Christmas peak season? For me, the waiting time is usually 30-60 mins in other hotels if not longer! It is such small things added together make the hotel outstanding. 3. Location: Very convenient area that is close to many food chains and local restaurants. It is basically walkable to those shops! The view from my window, frankly is grim (railways and dilapidated buildings). But I do not care. 4. Amenities: Cannot comment much as I did not use. But they have free fruits and coffee in the hallway (though becoming warm in the afternoon), which I guess already beats 80% same-level counterparts I have ever stayed. 5. Breakfast: Very very good. Even the same dish here you feel fresher. E.g the biscuit is not hard and stale. The scrambled eggs is tender and juicy. And also devil in details: they have Nutella sauce for breakfast! WOW! I guess it is my first time in Holiday Inn Express seeing that.

Very happy with this place. Great location for a traveler along 101, with some good food nearby. Very comfy beds, with clean rooms, friendly staff and a bunch of small touches like a dog waste station, small pantry and a good breakfast.
