Where do I start? Everything was great! The staff was very friendly, the gentleman in the morning in particular had great energy but everyone was very nice and extremely helpful. The hotel itself was very clean, seemed really new. No problems with noise or other guests and we stayed on a weekend. The breakfast was a hot breakfast with lots of options that we really loved! Our shared moments over breakfast each morning really added a lot to our trip. We didn’t use the pool but they do have a pool that’s open until I think 10. The location is great and is a short walk or drive from several gas stations and restaurants. It’s close to Gary too, which is why we were there (photography trip). All in all for the price you absolutely cannot beat it, I seriously felt like this was a $400/night hotel and I will stay here for every trip to Gary.
Great hotel stay. The front desk clerk Scott was awesome. He attended to my husband and I every need. Room was clean, bathroom clean, breakfast was good. Scott was professional and gave the best customer service. We will stay here again.
Nice clean room, spacious, the pictures don’t do it justice actually. Scott at the front desk was incredibly helpful and nice, haven’t had that warm of an interaction in a while and I’m in hotels 3-4 times a week. Will book here again soon.
The staff is the real reason for the perfect rating. It is a beautiful brand-new hotel, and the value for what you get is excellent. I appreciate how helpful everyone was and enjoyed talking to the staff like they knew me on my first trip to Portage.
Hotel room is nice and big. Bathrooms are big. Coffee in room and fridge. Closet and sitting bench in room. Tv is a good size. Large window in room. Price at around $125 per room for saturday night. Breakfast is included and has alot to choose from. Pool is nice. Check in at 3pm and check out at 11am. Will return
