Holiday Inn Express & Suites Selinsgrove - University Area, an IHG Hotel

I hesitated to stay here because we normally stay at another hotel brand. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean. The location is perfect when you are visiting the college. My husband and I were going to stay one night but ended up staying two. The front staff was so accommodating to our needs. Amanda was so helpful to us with working out our current and future stays in the area. Danielle was very friendly as well! We had a great stay and were always greeted with a friendly hello when we walked in the door! The breakfast had a nice variety The candy and snacks in the front were a plus when we arrived, especially after a 4-hour drive.

Have never had a problem at an IHG property. This time was also was proving to be the same. Then we met Dave ( the breakfast guy). He went above and beyond our normal expectations. He overheard my husband and I discussing the eggs which had peppers in them ( not a fan) and he came over and asked us if we wanted him to make us a cheese omelette instead. That was unexpected and so much appreciated. Thank you Dave for representing your companies brand extremely well.

This was enjoyable. As members of multiple hotel lines and a diamond with IHG, I am extremely impressed with this hotel. Clean peaceful, and staff was attentive and kind. Rooms were great and had everything you would need.

Not enough great things to say about this hotel; But I'll try! DELAYED flight, so I had a late check in between 1am - 2am on 1/10/25. Friendly face at the front desk, offering us bottles of water each. Lobby smells delightful! Check in was quick, and off to our room. We got the 2 bed suite #216. Very clean room, smells, looks, and feels clean and cozy. Lovely pillows, comfy linens/beds. Great looking furniture. All lamps work, Sofa bed is great for 1 person, but can fit 2 smaller bodies. Kitchenette area, with micrcrowave, coffee maker, sink, storage & minifridge. All clean & in working order. Handicap equipment in spacious bathroom. All shampoo/soap/conditioner bottles were full and ready to be used. Quiet during the night. Used the washer/dryers on the 2nd floor, clean & tidy area. Washer/dryer have credit/debit card tapping capabilities, detergent/dryer sheet dispenser needs quarters. The hotel is in a great area, shopping malls, Walmart, Movie theater, plenty of eating places on the same road. HOT BREAKFAST!! YUM! Great variety! Eggs, potatoes, bacon, pork/turkey sausages, breads/muffins/ assortment of yogurts & more! I usually stay in Harrisburg and drive up to Shamokin area, but not anymore, this is a great location for my trips to the area, and a wonderful hotel to stay in. 10/10 I recommend it 100%.

Absolutely no complaints. The service was great from the moment I checked in. The room was clean and plenty big enough for two of us. The layout of the room was a little odd, but that didn't bother me too much. I liked having a small mini fridge and microwave, plus a sink outside the bathroom. The A/C worked perfectly, which is hit or miss at most hotels. The bathroom was clean and there were full soaps, etc. The free breakfast was the icing on the cake. Really well stocked with food that may not be gourmet, but was well cooked. My wife and I have almost zero in common in our appetites, but we both found something to enjoy. If one complaint it was parking. The layout of the lot is odd and shares with the Quality beside it. Thursday we had no problems, but on Friday night it was pretty full by evening.
