Stayed here recently overnight with some friends. The location is great - right off of 84. Lots of good dining options. The room was large, clean and the bed was heavenly but the bonus is breakfast. Very well run!
Very nice. Not a new building but very well maintained and still looks like new. I had a king size bed and my room was surprisingly spacious. I would definitely recommend dropping the extra like $20 over their competition next door and staying here.
We booked this hotel over the Christmas break to use the pool and go to the Christmas festival at the old restoration village. The pool was out of order. There was no communication from the hotel ahead of the reservation about this, so we were unpleasantly surprised when we got there. The front desk staff said that it had been closed for “awhile” and it is actually still closed as I write this, so they appear to have no plans to repair it despite the fact that they are still including a picture of it on their website. I asked numerous times for management to contact me and no one followed through. We spent ton of money to entertain the kids in the middle of nowhere in the dead of winter as a result of this surprise. Disappointed.
First time for this location in Sturbridge. Excellent experience, comfortable beds, clean area, appreciated having refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. The room was spacious which was good as we were three adults. A great plus was the fantastic breakfast and on weekdays open until 10am. We will be staying again.
The rooms are decently sized and well kept by the decent sized housekeeping crew. The walkability is good. Plenty of restaurants nearby along route 20. Food and drinks are plenty full at breakfast at the complimentary free breakfast. After that you can buy from the clerk frozen foods and beverages as well next to the desk. My biggest thing here is the shower will burn the hell outta your body if you're not careful. When you turn the lever to warm it comes out burning hot and stays hot like that for 20 plus minutes. Also if you keep it at cold , again it comes out burning hot. You then will have to restart the shower to sorta reset the temperature, to get it to "normal". Also pool is broken so don't think that'll work here and the gym is always open. Just don't expect to bench press.
