Alex at the front desk was super personable, kind, and helpful. The burger theory restaurant attached to the hotel lobby is convenient and the food isn't bad. Most things for us were within walking distance and it seems like a safe area. However, they also offered a shuttle service (within 2 miles of the hotel) that was complimentary. We had AJ pick us up from the Intersection concert venue- she was super nice and helpful as well! Every encounter we had with staff at this hotel was lovely.
Shaine at the Holiday Inn in Grand Rapids went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional! He was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions with patience and positivity. From assisting with the check-in process to providing great navigation tips for the city, Shaine made everything so smooth and stress-free. It's clear he truly cares about creating a positive experience for guests. Thank you, Shaine, for your outstanding service! Highly recommend this Holiday Inn, especially with employees like him! I cannot say enough how amazing the staff is at this hotel!! 3 weeks ago my mom was admitted to Butterworth Hospital and ended up staying there for over a week on the Oncology floor. My husband found this amazing Holiday Inn that was not only beautiful, but offered a complimentary shuttle to and from the hospital. We were living one day to the next regarding our reservation. Shaine and Nate at the front desk were so helpful, accommodating and understanding to our situation. It was easy to communicate reservation changes and shuttle pick ups through their app. I ended up staying here 5 nights! My favorite shuttle driver Nick, was so friendly. We chatted about life and our families, each day he asked about my mom, which meant the world to me. ❤️ I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, but especially to those visiting loved ones at Butterworth. All the staff I encountered were kind and helpful and our room was gorgeous!!
We were in Grand Rapids because we had a relative in the hospital. The Holiday in was a. perfect stay and made a tough situation much better. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the shuttle is very convenient. From front desk, to restaurant to room service, all staff were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.
Had to stay a few nights in town for corporate meetings as roads were bad and weather was worse. Shaine and his fellow peers were so very welcoming and immediately made me reassured that my stay would be a positive one. Liz @ Burger Theory was so very kind and attentive. Shaine is someone to trust and ensure service is exceptional and I appreciate his level of skill and genuine personality. Thanks for another great Holiday Inn experience!
