GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS!!!! Take notes other hotels, THIS is how all hotels should always feel for guests. Michelle absolutely a delight. So warm, welcoming, and friendly and accommodating. Check in was a breeze, they have a beautiful lobby, heated pool, restaurant in the hotel and the location is perfect. I am sooooooooo glad we picked this spot.
One can't expect much at an IHG, BUT three things come to mind: (1) There is a sign above the toilet, partly obscured by the hanging towels which reads, "For your safety an anti-slip bath mat is available upon request. Please contact the front desk " I'm supposed to go down to the front desk naked or in my PJs to get one?! (2) The "kleenex" is a step above NEWSPRINT! and (3) No closet in the room, only some hangars on two hooks to the left of the TV. How lovely, but, hey, depending on your taste in clothing, it might be more visually appealing than what passes for "art" to the right of the TV.
I recently stayed at this hotel over the Thanksgiving holiday, traveled like 10 hours called the GSR prior to me arriving tel let them know I was still traveling. My reservation was jacked up cause of them. To stay 1 night I had to pay for 2 nights cause of the time I checked in. Which was not explained to me when I booked the room. The manager Michelle was helpful enough to jerk me out of my money. 3 different charges. Well over $ 250. I’m not happy the will not return my money and it’s not fair. You take advantage of people and think that we shouldn’t say anything wrong person. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Because of there staff
The Front Desk Agents, Ella and Nedi, greeted me with smiles and was empathetic when explaining I had issues getting to the front desk through back of building and traffic was awful getting there. They offered to walk me towards my room, but I declined and asked for directions, which were great. It really turned around my evening. Guest room was clean. I was welcomed with an amenity and personalized welcome letter in the room, which was a great surprise. The only negative was that the king bed didn't seem like good quality. I sat down and you could hear the springs and feel them on the sides. Food was great during our meeting. Staff was lovely.
I arrived pretty late for a work trip. My company chooses my hotel unfortunately. I’ve always had some sort of bad experience with Holiday inn and try to stick with Hilton Garden Inn. Check in was fine. The room smelled like weed. The heater wasn’t working properly and I was cold. Everything was to a degree acceptable. But then on my second morning I had an awful experience with their breakfast. It was past 6:30 and it was dark. Food was already placed in the warm trays. When the lady that’s in charge of the food YELLS at me not to touch the food before she turned the light on. I don’t know who she thought she was it was so early and I had to be on my way to work. It was PAST the time they start serving breakfast and it’s all self serve. I don’t appreciate being reprimanded like a child during my stay. Specially before work and to start my day off the wrong foot. I will ask my company to never book me here again. I only give TWO stars instead of one because I’m fair and the property overall was well maintained. The gym could be nicer but it is decent and was clean, and had towels and water.
