Absolutely awful! The rooms were DISGUSTING! Apparently this place has a well known history for bed bug infestations though luckily for me I didn’t see or get bit by any. There WERE, however, so many roaches I couldn’t believe it! I had to go to the store and buy chemicals myself because there were so many and I was visiting from out of state. The carpets were filthy and had patches torn out. The bathroom sink was clogged and there was a leak in the pipes underneath it causing water to pool on the floor. There was also no refrigerator in my room so I couldn’t store my food but I couldn’t leave it out either because of the roaches so I literally couldn’t even eat or have any food in my room. I tried to change rooms but the front desk said there were no more rooms available (even tho somebody I know literally got a room around the same time AND I could see plenty of empty dark rooms with no guests). Just absolutely awful, all the way around. Save yourself the trauma and DO NOT stay here unless you have absolutely no other choice!

SOLO TRAVELERS OR PEOPLE WITHOUT A CAR, DO NOT COME TO THIS “ HOTEL” The place completely is the worst ever, side walks are broken, rooms are not complete, you have to see where to accommodate your clothes. The person that is on charge of this place, not even be at the lobby nor no where to be found for hours, ( people tryint to check in ) and dude in his house or something. All around the hotel is completely drug addicted people anywhere, you easily can get robbed in this area or bothered 24/7 by the addicts. This is one of the worst zones in Los Angeles CA place is around $100 a night, save your money and buy a tent, is the same stuff… Completely ruined the whole trip, had to be at the hotel before the ☀️ sun goes in… Horrible.

Clean rooms, kind workers, and lodgey vibe that gives Los Angeles from the 60s a bit still. Incredible retro architecture!

The rooms here are BAD, it barely qualifies as a room, i get that is budget, but it's extremely rough, lots of damage. the main outside door was very flimsy, didn't seem very safe, it also had a noticeable gap, someone outside can easily see what's happening inside through it. the bathroom door had a big chunk missing, the bathtub was so worn not even a cleaning would fix it, same for the toilet. Bed was ok, but i had a roachy friend on my bedsheets. Don't even think about getting any wifi either. Area also didn't inspire too much safety at night. The staff is very friendly, i must say, it's not their fault that this place is so beaten down. I would say just use this place as an emergency "i need a room for the night".
