Electric @ every site but not water. Clean, friendly & helpful patrons! Neighbor let us use his hose plus ours so we didn't have to pull around to a water spicket. & there are more water points than the site map denotes. No worries about our dogs. There is an outhouse once the plumbing is turned off for the season. Oct 22-Apr 22nd. Each site has a picnic table & a well built fire pit.
Very beautiful, well-kept campground! The weekend we camped at site 18, it was completely full, but you would never know it with a spaced out with lots. This has become our new favorite for the family!
Worst campground we’ve experienced. We booked a stay here for October 26th - 28th and made sure that the bathrooms and showers would be open as we’re a family of 5. They assured us they would be open and that they don’t close until November. We get here, set up and go to use the bathroom and they are locked. The showers and outhouses are also locked. The public sink and water has also been shut off. There is no one at the check in booth and when you call the number they have listed, no one answers so we can’t even get a rain check or get our money back. The hiking trail is also closed, not taken care of and completely overgrown. Do not waste your time or money on this place! Never coming back here!
Beautiful, and quite a bit more private than others, especially state parks. Most lots are nestled among dense trees and bushes, so it's nice that you're not right on top of other people's campsites. Bathrooms are good and kept up.
Always our go to when starting the season. Spacious sites, great rangers, and well kept grounds. Still priced reasonable compared to other state campgrounds jacking their prices up.
I love this place and so do my 3 dogs. We got a secluded campsite (141 Hickory Loop), and it’s gorgeous- tucked into the woods and was easy to back into. You’re far enough from people to where you don’t really see a lot of them or hear them that often besides people walking by. This has been very peaceful- and fairly inexpensive as well. There is no water hookup- but you can fill up and dump at the front of the campground. No store- but you can stop and get firewood when you check in. I will also add that there are a LOT of spiders being surrounded by so many trees- so be warned LOL
The price is getting a little up there but I’ve always had GREAT experiences with everyone I’ve interacted with from workers too other campers I’ve always left with amazing stories to share with others! Not to mention the bathrooms are always pretty clean and there’s a basketball court and a few small playgrounds for the kiddos!
We had a great time. Lots of trails to explore and the sites are very nice. Love the area.
