Hollywood KOA Introduce
Hollywood KOA is a popular choice for travelers and locals alike seeking a convenient base for exploring the area. Nestled in Hollywood, Florida, this RV park and campground provides easy access to local attractions such as Hollywood Beach and Boardwalk, while offering a range of services tailored to both recreational vehicles and tents. The location is particularly appealing for those looking to explore the nearby beaches and coastal activities.
Visitors can enjoy the park's well-maintained sites with electric hookups and restrooms available on-site. While the facilities are tight in space, making it challenging for larger rigs, Hollywood KOA remains a viable option for smaller campers and travelers looking to stay close to the action without sacrificing too much space.
Some amenities include:
- Electric hookups
- Restroom facilities
- Parking for RVs and trailers
- Proximity to local shopping and dining
- Nearby access to Hollywood Beach and Boardwalk
Hollywood KOA has received mixed reviews from guests. Many appreciate the friendly staff, convenient location, and quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle of city life. However, some visitors have noted issues with site tightness, limited amenities like WiFi or a pool, and high nightly rates compared to what's offered.
Overall, Hollywood KOA is best suited for travelers who prioritize convenience and proximity to local attractions over extensive on-site amenities. While there are challenges with space and additional features, the park continues to serve as a functional stop for those exploring the greater Fort Lauderdale area.

Customer Reviews
I was worried because of the reviews, but this place was very acceptable. This campground was in town which made access to the city easy. The downside is that it’s very tight, I don’t know how the big rigs manage it. The staff was friendly and helpful. I did not use the bath house, so can’t comment on it. I was a bit worried about the location because I knew nothing of the area, but so no issues whatsoever. My camper is a 25 ft travel trailer and I managed quite well. I did see fifth wheels and class A’s there. I didn’t get any cable, but plenty of stations were available OTA with the antenna.
The office staff was nice, lots of shopping is nearby, we had a nice patio, no noise from trains or planes and no noisy neighbors. But, the sites are very tight, the garbage dumpster was overflowing with at least 100 bags on the ground surrounding the bin, and there were zero amenities like a pool or WiFi. $110 a night was way too much for what you get The traffic is atrocious anywhere you go. The locals seem to think that traffic laws are just a suggestion, not needed to be followed. It takes forever just to go a few miles. The Hollywood Beach and Boardwalk is worth a visit.
This is my mom's Google account. But please think twice campers so close together. Ask to leave one day earlier and said would not refund but a voucher my mom's dementia was causing so much confusion as I explained to them but did not care . No privacy this was the hayes family so we did stay there
I can't believe KOA puts their name on this parking lot. It's the furthest thing from a KOA Campground. Sites are tiny, very hard to get in with a 36ft + 24ft tow vehicle especially when there are sites directly in front of where you have to back in. Over $100 a night. No gate, zero amenities, trashiest KOA ever seen.
We stayed at the KOA Hollywood Florida for 2 nights. Spaces were very tight. It was in the heart of the city, but not gated or secured. The men's room lock was broken so anyone from the street could have access. Internet was non-existent although the hostess said it was available. They forgot to apply our discount, despite the fact we made out reservation through KOA. We did eventually get that taken care of. Laundry was available but was more expensive than other KOA's we've been to. There were no other amenities. I wouldn't go back. Not at all up to KOA standards.
