While there are no elaborate facilities, the location more than makes up for it with its proximity to other natural wonders, such as Orange Springs State Park.

One of the standout features of Holton Creek Campsite is its location along a scenic driving route that winds through the countryside. The campsite also serves as an ideal starting point for outdoor enthusiasts, offering easy access to hiking trails, fishing spots, and waterways perfect for kayaking or canoeing.

Customers have shared their experiences, highlighting both the beauty of the area and the potential challenges of the campsite itself. One visitor noted that while there isn't much in terms of developed campsites, the ride through the country was "wonderful" with well-maintained roads, making it an enjoyable experience for those traveling by car. Another highlighted the abundance of natural beauty and wildlife, which more than compensated for any lack of amenities.

For those planning a visit, it's important to note that Holton Creek Campsite is best suited for those who enjoy primitive camping and are prepared to bring their own supplies. The site does not offer running water or electricity, so visitors should come equipped with necessary provisions. From what I could tell there really isn't much of a campsite. If there was one in the area at one time it sure hasn't been maintained. Other than no campgrounds the ride thru the country was wonderful. The roads have been maintained and are easily drivable.
