This place was exceptional. The views were stunning, and not a lot of people stayed the week I did. The campground is only 10 dollars a night. There are two bathrooms and two water pumps. Very close to trails, fishing, and more. The closest store is about 20 miles in Augusta Mt. It's mostly dirt road, but we'll maintained.

probably one of my favorite campgrounds in the Augusta/Choteau area. water available on site, clean restrooms, and amazing views. I spent a couple weeks here back in 2002, and the place is still as perfect as it was then. And the Sun Canyon Lodge is just up the road with great food and drink! You can't go wrong with this campground.

Nice area. $10 per night. Most all the campsites were overgrown with weeds and grass...the forest service needs to invest in a weed wacker! We stayed in the free area just before the official campground, not wooded very well and only about 3 or 4 sites worth camping at. Horribly windy on this trip. Great view of the river/reservoir.
