Avoid. Especially if you are in room 215 over a weekend...and especially if there is a volleyball tournament in town that weekend. That room sits just over the outside patio. If you're here on a weekend...very likely there will be parents outside by the outdoor gas fireplace. There will be talking (and you can hear nearly everything they say). There could be drinking (which is allowed by management) which means there could be loud talking. In our case there was also music being played on their outdoor speakers. Now...I like Chappel Roan as well...but at 10pm, when I'm tired, the last thing I want to hear is a bunch of parents singing "Pink Pony Club." So...call down to the front desk and ask if they could keep their music down. Couple minutes later we hear the folks apologize to the staff...and it seems most of the folks dissipate. Great. Except not everyone did...and they still have their outdoor speakers on. Now it's switched to country music. Call down again and ask...politely (I thought)...hey, what's a reasonable expectation for "quiet hours" to begin. That's when the fun starts...because the front desk staff then proceeds to get into a debate with me. That the music must be coming from another room (it wasnt) rather than outside. During this exchange...I'm told, "I can see out to the patio and there's only one person there." Me...No...there's two...they they're playing music on an outdoor speaker. I've stayed at a number of hotels in my time. I've...NEVER...had a member of staff debate with me on...anything. And...dont get me wrong...it takes a great deal for me to call downstairs and ask for folks to do their job. End result...I'll never stay at this hotel again.
oked through a third party with a condescending nasty attitude. She kept saying we should have booked with them instead of a third party with quite an attitude while interrupting everything i said. In the end she sent us back to our room and said to speak with a manager in the morning. The manager in the morning had the same nasty attitude about third party booking. They were acting as if we were paying a cheap price. the price we paid was five dollars less than retail. Manager of course offered no solutions or apologies. on top of the bed being bad the bathroom had mold all over it. The dishwasher smelled like something died in it. The walls were sticky. Every single appliance was dirty. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything that anyone near you were doing and the house keeper barged in the room without knocking not once but twice within a hour. Thought with it being a hilton hotel it would be a nice place to stay, i thought wrong it’s a CRAPHOLE with nasty condescending employees.
Clean hotel and very friendly staff. Plenty of breakfast options each morning and centrally located to Foley, Gulf Shores and many restaurants and activities. Perfect hotel for our stay with dogs.
WONDERFUL beds with super comfy pillows at a great location directly across from huge outlet mall. There's a Culver's, Walmart and several other restaurants near by. Enterprise is 3 min away. Also close to OWA - great place to stay in Foley (20 min from beach).
My main complaint is due to the manager Stephanie. I double booked two rooms and tried to cancel one the day prior, not aware my card would be charged already. When I called, they stated it was too late to cancel. However, the day I checked into one of the rooms, they canceled the room that was double booked. When I asked for a refund, I was told the manager specifically charged the room and would not issue the refund.
