Stopped here on the way to Florida for thanksgiving. The hotel was super clean and Angela greeted us with open arms! We chose to stay here because we had our pup and it was a great option. Spacious rooms, clean dishes, microwave took a while to heat up. There was variety for breakfast. Missed the bacon and the tea selections could have been better. Enjoyed our stay here and definitely will be back if needed.

Great all around budget hotel! New and friendly Service is very, very friendly and helpful. One night shift employee helped out beyond their shift to make sure a customer was taken care of when the business center PC was down. The rooms are super clean and fresh. The location is prime and feels safe surrounded by lots of new construction and bright lighting. Dogs are welcome, but there is a nightly fee for each pet.

Besides the location, there's not much else to offer. Cleanliness was questionable. The TV remote was dirty with dried food stuck in between the buttons. The office chair was broken and I had to sit on pillows to sit high enough to work at the desk. The walls were very thin and I could hear the TV from the room next door. The breakfast was underwhelming with rotten bananas, old apples, and no milk. I had to ask for coffee to be refilled at breakfast and there was no coffee available after breakfast hours. I use the Hilton app to access the digital key and on 8:30am the day I was supposed to check out I was locked out of my room. The app said I checked out when I have not checked out yet. I went back down to the front desk to see if they could reactivate my key on the app and there was no one at the front desk. I waited awhile until an employee came to the desk. Finally someone came over and asked if I wanted a key card, but they wouldn't give me the key without seeing an ID. I stated I don't have my ID because it's in my room that I've been locked out of. She asked if I had a picture of my ID on my phone and I said I do not. She seemed annoyed and asked, "You're not going to check?" I said I know I don't have a picture of my ID on my phone. The employee said she will meet me at the room with a key to let me in and I'll have to show my ID when I get to the room. I understand she was just following policy but the way she handled the situation made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. I already felt like I was not a valued customer/guest and then I was locked out of my room before check out time with no apology. I do not recommend staying here and I will not stay here in the future. There are plenty of other hotels in Mt. Pleasant with a good location that will provide better service.

Out first room ,our unit sounded like a plane taking off, then the door in the hall way going to the outside was very loud. The hotel didn't bother to switch rooms so after an hour of listening to a bunch of kids running around above us I finally called the front desk to change our room. The next room we got was spacious and we had no problems with noise. We actually slept. The rooms are not kept up. The plaster on the wall in the shower was actually not there. Things were not maintained well. Grease on the back of the door .. I usually don't complain, but wr expected better.

*Review update* Please, DO NOT frequent this hotel if you do not want to be falsely accused of smoking in your hotel room. My wife and I have NEVER smoked in our lives and we were charged 3 days after we left $250 for a cleaning fee...the housekeeper said it smelled like cigarette smoke. We went out of our way, as we always do to pick up after ourselves and anyone with common sense knows that if a guest smokes in their room, the room next door could have it come through the vents. This is what happened to us, as the smell was confined to the front door area. Even though the hotel has good pricing compared to those around it, BEWARE, as this apparently is a tactic to recoup some of their $$$ they lose to their competitors thru pricing. We are in the process to get this resolved, I will update if need be but we should have never been put in this position. I've stayed at Hilton hotels all my life and this is definitely a 1st....
