The environment at Homestead Campground typically features a mix of open, grassy areas and some wooded sections, providing options for both sunny and shaded sites. Guests can anticipate a peaceful atmosphere, conducive to relaxation and unwinding from daily routines. The layout is designed to maximize space and comfort for each site, ensuring a sense of privacy while still fostering a friendly community vibe. The area surrounding the campground benefits from its proximity to the Delaware coast, offering a pleasant climate during peak seasons. The emphasis is on a clean, safe, and family-friendly environment where visitors can truly connect with the outdoors. It's a place where the sounds of nature often prevail over urban noise, contributing to a truly restorative camping experience. While specific promotional offers are dynamic and best confirmed directly with Homestead Campground, insights from publicly available information suggest various types of promotions that guests can anticipate. Rates are typically structured for nightly, weekly, and monthly stays, with variations for peak holidays (e.g., Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day often requiring a minimum stay). Seasonal rates are common, with potential differences in pricing for months like May, June, September, and October compared to July and August. Full seasonal site rentals are also available, often with metered electricity and options for direct contracting of cable TV services. Discounts may be offered for groups, such as a reduced nightly rate for ten or more paid campsites, though holiday weekends might be excluded from such offers. Early bird booking incentives or last-minute deals may also be available, especially during the shoulder seasons. While a specific "50% off in May" promotion was noted in a recent review, this highlights the potential for significant seasonal discounts. Homestead Campground's online reservation system is a convenient way to check current availability, rates, and any ongoing promotions. It is highly recommended to visit the official website or contact the campground directly to inquire about the most current offers, special packages, and seasonal deals, as policies regarding cancellations and refunds are typically strict (e.g., "Absolutely no refunds due to weather"). Customer Reviews
Kids had a blast here! Mule deer walked thru every night, there was a creek the kids could play in, perfect to ride their bikes at! Loved it here and very quiet! Paige (camp mgr) and her dog Emma were super friendly and Paige even gave my kiddos fire charging packets for our bonfire. 🥰 The owners were super friendly and accommodating as well! The views are amazing!!!
Stopped here on the way back from Yellowstone, had a group with a bunch of kids with a lot of pent up energy from traveling for a few days. Owner was very accommodating with the tents we needed to set up and had a few cattle roping ropes out to play with. The kids had a wonderful time playing cowboy and running around on the ranch, climbing on the fences ect….. setting is beautiful, had a group of 4 bucks grazing in the field right next to the campsite. Would pick this over a national forest campground any day because the owner is right there and very helpful. Highly recommend!
This is a new campground and they are still working on it. Fair price and dog friendly. Full hook ups. No shower or restroom facilities. Amazing views.
We love it here. Don't want to leave. I hate staying at a regular rv park with the grave parking lot. You won't find that here. A must stay.
In process of updating the ground s but overall very nice. halfway between Cody and east entrance to Yellowstone.
