Disappointed. We’ve stayed here before and had no issues, but this time was different. This morning my wife noticed something on the couch and as we looked closer, it had food on it in the middle and a pile of crumbs on the side. Then my wife mentioned a black mark on the bed duvet and we discovered it was a smudge of chocolate “or something”. Regret not looking closer when we arrived yesterday. To top it off, we went down for breakfast at 9:15 and it was over!! Desk clerk didn’t mention when we checked in. I recommend giving notifications on the app(perhaps an hour before breakfast ends)! I was on it last night and this morning. When I went looking in app afterward, I couldn’t even find the times for breakfast- just that it was hot and a buffet…. Had to scan QR Code in room to search and find it! I love the location and we come to GR several times a year. I will think twice before spending the extra $ to stay here. If we do, I’ll be checking the room when we walk in…. This is not a good representation of what I normally see in Hilton hotels. Hope they do better going forward…😒
Stayed at this location one night after a concert at Van Andel Arena. Great location, within walking distance to the arena and many local restaurants. Safe to walk back late at night without any worry for crime. The room was much better than expected, and it had a full kitchen with stocked cabinets. The refrigerator could have been cleaned better but overall very happy. Breakfast was put away before stated time, so we were not able to eat prior to checking out. Parking was easy to locate and had no issues with entering/exiting the garage. It was a very safe location. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city or taking in a concert/event.
Came for the Stevie Wonder concert and stayed here so we didn’t have to drive back. Hotel was clean and quiet. Not sure how old this hotel is, but the floors in the hallways must be wood because of how they squeak walking over them. Why haven’t the floors been redone or at least nail them down to stop the noise? We stayed in 627 and the only two bedroom that had two Kings. They offer a free breakfast from 6-9a. Front desk was friendly. Great location with tons of restaurants to choose from. If you ever stay here let me know your thoughts.
The staff here is always friendly. Check in was a breeze and the room was exactly as expected. It's a great location, a good value and we will definitely stay here again when back in GR.
This hotel has lot of character. Our room had beautiful hardwood floors and was comfortable. Our only complaint was how loud it was. It was possible to hear footsteps from 2 floors up. It was conveniently located to shopping, outdoor activities and restaurants.
