The place is run down. When you first pull onto the property it looks like a homeless camp the RV's are all very old the structures ( carports look they were built in the 50's. When you get down to the river where our sites were, nothing had been cleaned up, there's a concrete slab, but the sites are all dirt, so if it rained everything would be muddy.... This could be a very nice campground, but It would take time and labor.
Where the laundry never works and the water is always cold. Update: 3 weeks later and the laundry machine coin boxes are still full. Meth is plentiful as is racism. Don't come if you are a woman or person of color.
It is a total dump. We were told our 44 ft. Camper would fit. When we got there we found out it would not fit. I called asking if they would refund our money. Not only did I not hear back from them, but they kept our money. Very dishonest people.
We loved staying here in our travel camper on the McKenzie River. I mean we stayed right on the river. We could hear the rushing river and it was so soothing. Nice and clean restrooms and showers. Wonderful lady who runs the office. Very accommodating and kind.
Sherri is a terrific host. She is friendly and very helpful. She went out of her way to help us with an electrical problem which made our trip all the more pleasant. We highly recommended this RV park.
