Great location and friendly staff but the large cabin (Grizzly) needs maintenance. Light bulbs out, lots of dead bugs in the window tracks, no TV remote, TV not working, a leaking AC unit in one of the bedrooms, and not much hot water for showers. Unfortunately, it’s not worth the $250 a night. Upper end pricing and a visitor should expect those items to work and the unit to be cleaned properly.
The location was perfect for what we wanted. Very dog friendly and the restaurant was on site for easy access and great food. Our Springer Spaniel had a great time playing in the streams and walking the trails. The manager was super friendly and very helpful. We appreciate her help! The RV spots back right up to the river but unfortunately you couldn’t see much of the water because the shrubs on the river’s edge blocked the view. We will definitely go back to escape the Nevada heat! Thanks!!
Absolutely amazing!!! It's the most beautiful place ever. The rental ATV ride on the mountain across the street was stunning views and incredible fun! Cute little gift shop and amazing food at the restaurant. Cabins were very clean and very homey. Bonfires under the clear night stars were a highlight of my trip. Sweetest staff ❤️
I didn’t stay in any of their rooms, I just stopped in to the cafe and it was very nice, they have a nice selection of souvenirs and they were very polite and nice, it’s a small place off the road but it’s nice and it’s convenient.
The burgers are delicious well prepared with generous fixings and delicious pretzel bread. The fries are uniquely condimented. The owner and hostess was welcoming and helped us pick the trails to go in the afternoon. We will return next time we come to the area!
