I visited the RV Park in late June 2024. The staff was very friendly, the park was quiet and clean. I really liked the area and felt very safe camping there. I would definitely go back and stay here again. I loved that there were so many things to do and explore around the property. I camped in the tent area, made some dinner while the sunset on the water, took a shower and went on a really beautiful rainy hike around the property the next morning. There is a lot of stuff to explore in the area and the price is great!
We stayed for one night during the “bomb cyclone”, so they’re was no exploring. When we arrived we were greeted by the sweetest lady with fresh ginger cookies. I never pass up a cookie. She gave us a recommendation for a great restaurant and we appreciated that. It was perfect. While the bathroom is old, it’s spacious and the heat turns on when you enter. The showers are a generous size and hot. There was plenty of room to set my stuff and hooks for hanging. The WiFi supported streaming most of the time, but eventually kicked us off. I’m not sure if it was weather related. The only negative I have is my husband was unable to use the showers because there was a sign up saying they were closed for painting. We didn’t have any warning about this. I’d stay here again.
This is the most gorgeous RV park I've ever seen. It sits right on the banks of a beautiful river, has a walkway right next to the water with benches and a big open grassy area for playing or relaxing, whatever you want. The folks that run it remind me of going to visit an Aunt you rarely see but is your favorite anyway, lol. They recently overhauled the bathrooms and they're gorgeous, huge shower stalls with as much hot water as anybody ever needed, thermostat right on the wall so it's warm when you ladies have a big countertop for all your beauty needs and the best part is Washingtonians are just nice people, even the criminals are kind and polite and would give you the shirt off their back before they rob your house, lol. Lovely, scenic and peaceful place. Bonus; propane tank filling is right there and doesn't cost an arm or a leg. I want to live here and I don't even have an RV, lol
Beautiful place! Very quiet and has a trail near the river. My kids loved it. The owners/host are very friendly.
We stayed at the Hoquiam River RV Park in Hoquiam, Washington, on July 24, 2024. The management was very friendly and welcoming, making the check-in process smooth and easy. They showed us to our spot, which had a lovely view of the river. We were fortunate that the spot next to us was unoccupied, giving us a bit more space. The site had good Verizon cell phone coverage, and we had water, sewer, and electric hookups. My girlfriend particularly enjoyed the walk through their forest along the river, which was a nice touch. The park was quiet and well-maintained, with gravel roads and RV sites, along with patches of grass. We are used to boondocking, but for an RV park, this was a great stay. Overall, we enjoyed our one-night stay and found the park to be a pleasant and well-kept place to stop.
