It's been three months since we were here and I often think about this place. The owners/family made us feel welcome when we were homesick and exhausted from traveling for the past few months. The activities that their full-timers host on the weekends are full of hilarity! The campground is pretty well maintained. The internet is the best internet experience that I've had at any campground. They loaned me a drill when mine decided to die. They had no issues with me receiving packages which was incredible because I needed to get caught up on regular life supplies and there were a lot of packages! We stayed here a month and toured the whole state. They gave me directions to the best sunset (MT Ascutney fyi). Told me the best place to buy groceries and get an oil change. Vermont is one of my favorite states now and most of it is due to this campground. If you need a peaceful place to stay you should choose this one! I'll always remember this place and maybe one day I'll get to come back. From the mom of five from Louisiana-thanks for everything!
My parents own this place so I may be considered a biased reviewer. However, I can say with undisputed doubt that this is a great place to be for the summer. There is a pool, mini golf, hiking, at least 5 different playgrounds spread throughout, a pond where you can use provided paddle boats and there is a trout fishing derby once a year, beautiful streams and woods, and 97 acres of nature. I stayed for a weekend and didnt want to leave. There are options for weekend campers and seasonal campers.
Nice place great owners. Cable didn't work and kids very loud and destructive throwing stones at a building on site. Obviously the parents fault not the park
Gosh do i have some great things to say about this place! First of all, the Community, the Commrodery... everyone and everything is intertwined like a food web, you need us and we need you! Number 2, the friends i've made are just the best, from right now, i've been friends with some others for about 4 years! And the adults, about 6-7 years... This campground is a place where i can let my slef lose, theres not many places where anyone can do that... Number 3, The place it self is an amazing location, right in the heart of Vermont (The best state objectively) Overall, This place is a 10/10... i bathrooms could use a little work, the people are amazing and I've made a lot of memories here...
Spent one night while visiting in the area. The campground was off the beaten path. The owner was very friendly. The campground is on two sides of the highway. On one side is the office, playground, pool, and most of the campers are full-timers. Across the highway is a large building with restrooms and showers, another group of full-timers and room for other campers. If we were in the area we would consider spending another night.
