Great place for family camping. Tons of stuff to do. Animals allowed. Friendly people. Clean facilities. Clean lake for swimming. Great lake for fishing. Only downfall is no full hook ups and they don't really have a stocked store. There is a meijer down the road though. No wifi either but ŵho really needs wifi YOU'RE CAMPING. Great place to rustic camp with a tent too. Really great place if you have kids too. TONS OF KIDS.
A quiet and peaceful retreat. Has an up north feel without the travel time. Everyone is very welcoming and warm.
For being owned by a sportsmans club, you'd think the people staying there and hunting on the state land would have a little more common sense. Ran into one of their "members" this past weekend as he was walking through the woods at dusk without a flashlight of any kind. I was stunned how stupid a fellow hunter could be.
