I stop here often while kayaking down the river. I recently took a walk here in winter and it was very quiet! There's not too much going on. You can walk almost 2 miles out to the campground and back to the parking lot. Great fishing spot as well. Summer season is packed, and a good place to put your kayak/raft in, or take out.

Wet busy and popular place. Very dog friendly. Trail forks off and both trails end in dead ends. Easy trails. Nice pretty area. At the end of the trail is a nice area with benches and bathrooms. Water looks nice and is deep and fast flowing. My dog did alert to something I couldn’t see in the trees. So do keep an eye out when you’re there.

This is a favorite place to go during the week days... (weekends it's always packed) This is a really relaxing place to come sit and do yoga or meditation. You can tan out on the log or you can bring a good book and soak up the sun while relaxing... Or you can bring the kids and dogs and let everyone splash around. It's the 1/2way point on the Knights ferry rafting trip.
