Come here on a Spring evening to reflect and take a quiet walk through the woods. There is a path through the woods on the west side of the lake that is lovely. It was quiet except for birdsong and the occasional scampering squirrel in the dry leaves, and you will likely only encounter the occasional fisher (posted signs state that no swimming, boating, or skating is allowed). The path is easy to follow, but at times it dips right down to the edge of the lake and becomes a little wet or even inundated. These were minor obstacles; I had no trouble getting past those points. There is also a path on the other side of the lake, but it was not quite as well established. I neglected to measure the distance, and you should, too. Come here to contemplate, and leave whenever you are ready. Note: there is very little parking, but if you are willing to walk a little bit, you might be able to park on the street leading up to the park if the tiny parking lot is full.

Not what I would call a park. In fact, I couldn’t really find a place to park. There is a footpath going around the lake, but you have to get onto the golf course at the backside of the lake. Probably a great place for locals, but not for someone traveling through.

Great local spot tucked away in between the rear of a golf course and a family friendly subdivision
