Absolutely beautiful location. Spectacular views. Early October weather was perfect. Rooms and cabins are comfortable. I stayed in a newer cabin, which was very nice and modern, although we did have issues with a lack of hot water at night. Other than that, it was laid out very well and had everything we needed for a weekend trip to attend a family wedding.
This place is breathtaking! The owners and staff are very lovely and caring people. The trails are gorgeous, and the views are spectacular. I stayed in the Tamarack Cabin, and it had a lovely view of the Jefferson Mountain and open green meadow. The wildlife you see around you is stunning. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you love a rustic upscale cabin stay!
One of the most beautiful wedding venues I've ever had the pleasure to photograph! Not only is it a great setup with all the cabins and rooms for a destination wedding, it's also a space that flows well allowing guests to mingle comfortably. I love the deck area for wedding receptions, the views are breathtaking. Really though, it's all about the view from the ceremony site! A piece of advice in summer, schedule a later ceremony for the best light, 5 or later for sure!
