First time joining my family on this trip. Upon arrival the room was a decent size. The color scheme is up to date and the location of this property is awesome. We booked two rooms next to one another on the second floor. They respect your privacy, but lack attentive basic house keeping. I made sure the kids had picked up so they wouldn't interfere when house keepers arrived. We made our bed and called to the front office to get our rooms vacuumed. Requested for towels and extra toilet paper. The receptionist said she would schedule housekeeping for the next day. When house keeping came, they were very rude. Asked us how many towels we used and I told them a few in which the man seemed irritated why they were called to clean. I ignored that, but then the woman came in with a very old vacuum and speedily vacuumed. I tried to tell her there were spots I lifted the chairs to help her out but she skipped over it and continued to speak to her husband in her language. I don't mind it, it's just the way they seem like we are inconveniencing them. She then said as she was leaving if we need more towels they will have to charge us for extra. I was just grateful that they came to vacuum. I would have done it myself to keep our rooms clean. I don't mind staying in a dingy motel, if the customer service outweighed the imperfections of the room itself. The bed needs to be sprayed down because it is scary, we slept on top of the sheets. Everyone says the price. Well we booked for 4 nights in the weekend $195 for one and second one $215. Maybe because it was presidents holiday weekend or the soccer tournaments.
If nightmares had a hotel, this would be it. From the moment I pulled up, I knew I had made a mistake. The outside looked like it had survived multiple apocalypses. The hot tub/swimming pool had flakes at the bottom—unclear if they were skin cells or the remains of past guests. I didn’t dare take a shower because the bathroom looked like it was used in a crime documentary. There was actual stuff on the walls (I refuse to guess what). The bed? Hairy. The towels? Thin and suspiciously stained. The walls? Dirtier than my browser history. I bought Clorox wipes but honestly, should’ve gone with bleach and a priest. Then there was breakfast: stale bread, sad cereal, and the deep regret of everyone in the room. I canceled the rest of my stay faster than my last bad relationship and found somewhere that didn’t make me question my life choices. To those leaving good reviews… blink twice if you need help. I will never, ever stay here again.
They were nice on the phone. But the older lady that cleans the rooms alongside with her husband, very rude and acted like we were inconveniencing them for normal things like asking for our room to be vacuumed. When she vacuumed she was knocking things over with her vacuum. She didn’t talk to us she yelled at us!!! Or if we asked for towels they threatened to charge us a $1 for each of them if we didn’t bring the others that we already used, when they came by already had collected them. Breakfast was ok. This is my family’s first and MOST definitely the last time here. The worst experience we ever had!!! Sadly we’ve been coming down here for my son’s tournaments the last 4 years. Their behavior was absolute appalling, disgusting and disgraceful. They Should not run a business if they don’t know how to treat their guests!! Don’t book here! I will make sure all my family and friends because we are a Polynesian family, and we have a large number of people we network thru, cause we run businesses ourselves, NEVER EVER come here. Word of mouth is definitely my source of advertisement, next up is social media. I Seriously think they should have a crash course in mannerisms 101 and customer service etiquette in general. The soda we got from their machine had expiration date of 2023 smh. They only have 1 outdoor trash for one side of the entire hotel. We clean up after ourselves and have asked if it’s too much just give us the vacuum so we can clean the rooms ourselves. Definitely overpriced for what you get.
I reserved a room for downstairs and off of the main st, due to high traffic and the freeway being close by. I also used my Wyndham points (15,000) for a lesser value of the room. Perks of being a good member! When i arrived my reservation had been cancelled unannounced To me!!! So i lost my points and i had to pay $60 for a room i didnt want and its in the front of the building!! The poor lady at the desk was confused as to why my reservation was canceled but the gentleman that cancelled it didnt tell her he did. ( Jack ) Sarah was very helpful though. Bill is always amazing when i go there. I get to my room and it has hair in the tub, the door to the bathroom doesn’t even close right, the bed was slept in i can tell, sheets weren’t changed, there was stains on the walls from god knows what! Nasty brown color! I’m very very disappointed!
I loved this place. For the price the rooms are absolutely fine. I really can't understand the bad reviews. Bill was so sweet and kind, he made me feel so welcome and offered me a lot of recommendations and tips about the area and Zion. The bed was very comfortable. The shower pressure was good. I loved to have a little desk to read and write my diary. There was a fridge and the AC was not too noisy (which has been a problem for me in other hotels/motels) the breakfast was nothing special but still the best included breakfast I've had so far! They had coffee, tea, bagels and toast, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs and even granola bars. The pool was nice too. The only downside: it is not very well soundproofed, I overheard the conversations from the next room and the group of men who slept next to my room even woke me up by coming back late and I'm not a light sleeper - didn't bother me that much though. Since my stay was so nice and I felt so welcome, I even decided to stay another night after my trip to the grand canyon. This time I had an even better room with an even better bed :) I can only recommend staying here!
