Even after a storm they came through with a leaf blower and cleaned up our patio. Nice level sites in the trees, but easy to move rigs around. Great help parking trailers as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
This is a great campsite! We stayed in the glamping tent which is adorable and had everything we needed. The rainfall shower was amazing and had the best water pressure. The site is so close to many attractions- 2 minutes to Bear country, 7 minutes to Cosmos, 20 minutes to Mount Rushmore, and 30 minutes from Custer. The site is next to the freeway so I’d recommend requesting a site towards the back of the campground. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The campground itself had a pool, hot tub, mini golf, horseshoes, a jumping pillow, a coffee truck on the weekend and live music Friday night. Definitely a great place to stay for the whole family!
Stayed for 5 nights. I was in front so there was a bit of noise from the highway but very peaceful otherwise. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would've stayed longer but my spot was reserved for the weekend. The showers were clean but the bathroom stall was quite small, I'm only 5 10 and it was tight, but that's my only real complaint. Nice park, lots of space to wander. Close to most everything you'd visit Rapid City to see.
We took our 11 year old grandson on an adventure. Did some glamping at HTR Black Hills. He had his own room and we had ours. All the amenities were great - electricity, hot water, running water, private toilet and shower, microwave, small refrigerator with freezer, AC/Heater, Infrared grill. Had a great time! We even checked out the basketball court, the jump pad and the ball pit (I can't remember the name of the game).
We loved staying here! It was a great central location for lots of fun things to do in the greater area. The property was very well-maintained, and we loved how spacious our family cabin was!
