Really wish the horse areas were built up more / cleaned up better? This is how they looked when we arrived on sites 7,6 and 5. Also I think Houston Woods needs to patrol the horse camp area better. All 4 days we were there someone in a black suv showed up to go in the men's bathroom for over an hour. Looked sketchy and unsafe and of course they were not there to camp.

In my opinion, this is an awesome horse camp. I've not seen anything like it in the area. It looks like a very cool place to go camping with your horse. There are campsites with electric hook-ups, a shower house, some outhouses, a small playground for the kids, riding trails, a small arena, and lots of places to tie your horse.

They are doing great work to improve the trails! Campsites are nice and there is a full sized outdoor arena there as well. Plenty of trails, but bring your GPS because some are not well marked.

Nice park. You can take short rides or extended as you desire. Has an arena for the beginner or practice for the experienced rider.

Beautiful trails to ride horses. Can go all day on multiple trails or the major loop trail. Would be great if the park would get the electricity back to the horse camp again though.
