Hugo Lake Campground Introduce
Introduction / Overview: Your Peaceful Retreat on Hugo Lake
Located in the heart of scenic Southeastern Oklahoma, the Hugo Lake Campground provides a fantastic outdoor destination, particularly for those seeking a tranquil, lakeside experience managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE). This popular recreation area offers miles of shoreline and wooded parks, making it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The campgrounds, which are part of the larger Hugo Lake complex (including areas like Kiamichi Park and Virgil Point), are renowned for their quiet atmosphere and ample space, providing plenty of "elbowroom" for all visitors.
Hugo Lake is a dual-purpose body of water, primarily built for flood control and water storage, but its recreational value has made it a beloved spot for Oklahomans. The camping facilities here are highly regarded, featuring amenities that cater to modern RVs and traditional tent campers alike. Guests often praise specific loops, such as the Juniper area, for offering concrete, level pads and direct views backing up to the water. The wooded surroundings create a beautiful, relaxing setting for a visit that can include everything from cycling and jogging on the large, paved roads to spectacular fishing on the 13,250-acre lake. If you're looking for an authentic Oklahoma outdoor adventure with reliable amenities, Hugo Lake Campground offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and convenience.

Customer Reviews
Only complain here was that there were those bugs that are attracted to your light so I had to keep the camper light on the outside off and not turn the lights on until you close the door. I believe it was 18 bucks. Electrical had a spicket fire pit barbecue grill Lakeview and free firewood
This is a quiet little Corp Park in Hugo Oklahoma. We stayed in the Juniper area. All campsites on Juniper backup to the water. They have concrete pads. Our site was very level - (site J6). Some of the sites have a covered picnic table. We have a 40 Motorhome, this site was capable of accommodating our coach and our small Kia. Our site had good Verizon signal also.
Very nice RV park. Not crowded and very quiet. The sites are well spaced.
Beautiful! My new favorite RV camping place. Site 1, 2 & 3 are not good. All others are great!!
This campground was VERY DISAPPOINTING! The restrooms were far from the campsites. The toilets DIDN'T FLUSH! VERY SMELLY TOO! We reserved J 9 through recreation.gov. We will not be staying here tonight or EVER!
