We stayed for 3 nights in September. We arrived late on the first night and could not fit camper in the site we picked. Campground employees were more then helpful in letting us set up in another site. Campsites were plenty large enough. Campground was clean and overall well maintained. New owners recently purchased Clear Water campground and Meredith Woods which is across the road. Campers get to use pool or lake at both campgrounds. We will be back. Only took a photo of our site wish we had taken more.

The Campground was BEAUTIFUL. However, apparently they owe both parks, one bring Meredith and the other being something else. We reserved early in the season, but when we got there, we were unaware of the two different parks. Other than that confusion, the park is BEAUTIFUL, and very peaceful.

Overall the campground was nice. Although we had site 219 which looked at a maintenance building unfortunately so avoid that site. The sites were nicely wooded and spaced apart. They had a playground, basketball hoop, swimming pool and a dog park. To get in it’s gated. Check in office isn’t directly in front it’s a bit of a drive into the place to get to office. When you book if it’s less than 6 nights you aren’t assigned a site until you arrive which I didn’t like. Even with gps it wasn’t easy to find. I would go back.

Been going for many years to Meredith Woods. Made reservations for this coming Columbus Day last year when we left two days after Columbus Day 2023. We had to cancel our reservation 15 days ago because our slide is not working and can't get a appointment to get it fixed until November 18th. They refused to give us back our deposit. The girl in the office was extremely rude. We go every year with a group of friends. We will never go back there.

This is one of the cleanest campgrounds we have been to! The sites are huge and have so much privacy with your own table, trash can and fire pit. There’s a cute little store, arcade room, TV/library room and of course our favorite, the pool and hot tub! We loved this campground!

For those of you that have been coming for years. The pool is no longer heated and is too cold to swim in. Hot tub is broken and unusable. We come here to use the indoors since it is early in the year. They are planning on tearing down the building and putting in an outdoor pool. Sites are large but not taken care of. Large branches everywhere and fire pit not cleaned out. Had to clean the site to make it usable. No one on site for emergencies. Front desk person was rude and condescending. My 20 year tradition has just come to an end. Will not recommend again. No longer worth the money.

we have frequented now Hunter’s run previously Clearwater for many years. This past year I absolutely have no complaints. The staff both office manager and maintenance have been nothing but helpful. They are friendly, considerate, and willing to help anyone. They are professional and courteous.

Decent place but they need some work badly. Campsites are spacious, bathhouses are nice, and most employees were nice Found out at check-in that the pool which is supposed to be “resort-like enjoyed year round” hasn’t been heated in quite some time because it is broken. The hot tub is broken and covered with no timeframe for being fixed. The sign at the entrance to the campground does not say Hunter’s Run anywhere on either side of the highway, but “Clearwater” or something similar which meant we drove slightly passed it on the 55mph road for fear we wouldn’t have room to turn around if we turned in. Luckily an employee was nearby, confirmed we were in the right spot, so I backed up on the shoulder, creating a potentially dangerous situation. We can’t be the only ones this has happened to. There is also not good signage for finding the pool. The woman at the pool office was not kind and was unapologetic about the pool and hot tub. We went back to our site, got ready to swim despite the cold water and drove back to find the place locked up with a note about closing early for Mother’s Day. It would have been really nice to get some warning about this since we were there less than an hour earlier. The front gate locked me out the morning we left. I left to get coffee and came back about 7:30am. The card worked, but the mechanism wouldn’t raise the arm. There is no other way in so I called the emergency number and got no answer or return phone call at all. 15 minutes later a friendly employee wandered out and knew just how to fix it because it has been malfunctioning lately. If they knew about it, why not do something proactive? The beach/boat area is flooded and not being maintained. Don’t think we’ll be back
