Lovely campsite a short walk from the white sand clean beach. Lots of birds in the lagoon (seems popular with bird watchers) and alligators lazing in the sun. Spacious sites (we were tucked away in #29 - trees around, sound of waves, open enough for Starlink to work). Very chill place, clean showers/toilets. Worth the $75 nightly fee.

Went for a Sunday drive and a walk on the beach. Atalaya was cool but our favorite part was the nature center. Lots of opportunities for good photos.

This is the second state park we have visited in the last 6 months and wow, did we have a good time. Viewing wildlife, taking pictures and just enjoying this large park. We will be coming back on a regular basis as there is so much to see and do, we have only just begun... Give it a try and be ready to explore, learn and enjoy. All of the parks employees were polite and very helpful. Clean restrooms, ample parking and great campsites. Thank you
