Huntley Park Introduce
Welcome to Huntley Park, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Gold Beach, Oregon. This scenic campground and RV park offers a perfect retreat for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Whether you're looking to unwind amidst lush greenery or engage in exciting outdoor activities, Huntley Park has something for everyone.
Huntley Park features a variety of well-maintained camping spots, catering to both sunny and shady preferences. The park is equipped with essential amenities, including a main bathroom with running water and coin-operated showers, ensuring a comfortable stay for all visitors. While there are no electric hookups available, the serene environment and proximity to nature more than make up for it.
One of the highlights of Huntley Park is its proximity to the Rogue River, offering excellent opportunities for fishing. Visitors have reported catching silver salmon right off the gravel bar, making it a paradise for anglers. However, please note that the river's fast-moving waters may not be suitable for swimming, especially during certain times of the year.
Here’s what some of our satisfied visitors have to say about their experience at Huntley Park:
- "Solid little campground about 7 miles from Gold Coast! Came here late September and saw a lot of gnats. However, the spots were pretty well kept, with more sunny and more shady spots. The main bathroom has both running water and coin showers, and no electric hookup (if that is something you look for, it's recommended to go to Secret Camp - they recommended here for us, with no need to have full hookup!!!)"
- "This was the first time visit on the recommendations of some friends. Beautiful place, water high and FAST MOVING ‼️ Definitely not a goody area for swimming in but possibly later on in the summer when water levels drop. Hooked up a nice silver salmon right off the gravel bar 🎉 Felling blessed 🎣"

Midweek it is quiet and peaceful, on weekends it gets busy although the camp did not get rowdy at all. We stayed in the back of the park and thankfully it kept the forest vibe despite the front end becoming more like a tent city. The downside is the distance to the bathrooms, many of our fellow campers drove down to the facilities. We used a bike and that was very helpful. Not so great in the middle of the night. Easy access to the river and views of the jet boats each day.
One of my favorite campgrounds. Spectacular views of the Rogue River from all the riverside sites, and most of the others. Sites are $15/night, or $95 for a while week. Hot showers, reasonable AT&T coverage. One site has power but is $25/night. Well-kept campground, quiet and clean everywhere. Showers are $2 for more time than you need. Each of six times I came here, there was always plenty of good, open spots. Walk your dog on the wide and long riverbank, as well as access to nice long trails to the west and east. Having been here a dozen times now, I have seen that the weather is consistent to its respective season. And even the winter is nice here. Fresh rain and a great view of the Rogue River when it rains, as well as a quiet campground with few visitors. Recommended. No T-Mobile service, but does have 2 bars Verizon and AT&T oon the western half of the campground, approximately. Signals get stronger as you go towards town, but no T-Mobile service until you're almost in Gold Beach. Tho there are few visitors in the winter here, it's my favorite time to visit. Quiet and green, you can often see the Milky Way at night.
Pretty nice little campground with reasonable price $15/night. Clean bathrooms (both with running water and Porto-potties) and showers. Fire ring and picnic tables no electric. Next to river. Recommended.
