Incredible sunset!!! Clean facility, family friendly, and staff are wonderful. Beach and trails are not the greatest but definitely a park to visit and explore.
The Huron campground at Point Farms is usually where I choose to camp, the main reason being that it is radio free. At night it is usually pretty quiet for sleeping. There are two lookouts for viewing the sunset, one has a larger area with a slightly better view. The washrooms are usually clean. The sites are well kept. The stairs leading down to the lake have been closed over the last couple of years.
I'm never a huge fan of provincial campgrounds (too many limitations); however, this was a really good one. Big, clean, lots to do (bike trails, beach), semi private camp sites. The staff were incredibly nice and even security would wave and say hello. It's really a gem.
So quiet this time of year. Amazing
The dirtiest and smallest campground I’ve been to,the stove filled with tissues.
