Hyatt Place Nashville/Opryland

Visited over Christmas with my fiancée and her family. Hotel seemed pretty empty likely from the holiday and room was quiet. We had 2 rooms on the reservation for 4 people and was very quiet (could only hear them if I didn’t shut the door). We stayed here due to proximity to the Gaylord for their Christmas events. The shuttle wasn’t running due to holiday which was understandable so we drove over to the Gaylord for the events. Dee at the front desk was a gem when checking us in on arrival! She is amazing! Would stay here again but with the layout of the rooms it works best if shared with 1 other person or if others are going to be up at the same time to not disturb others sleeping later

This hotel was absolutely terrible. Besides the room being decently clean, it was extremely outdated. Water barely came out of the shower, the AC did not work. The room consistently stayed at 75°+ degrees. The breakfast was the worst I have ever had. The bread was moldy and the selection was terrible. Would not recommend!

Spacious rooms, very clean, front desk woman (DEDE) was PHENOMENAL when checking in! She was very welcoming & made us feel comfortable! Breakfast was not great, long delay in refilling dishes that were gone. When I asked the staff to stick forks because there wasn’t any they seemed like I was an inconvenience. The problem I had and the reason for my star rating is because going back to my room after breakfast there was already someone in my room REMOVING my belongings and telling me I checked out! Which clearly I HAD NOT! she would not leave my room for about 10-15 min bc she believed I wasn’t suppose to go into the room I PAID FOR! that has MY BELONGINGS!! We had a very busy morning ahead of us and already in a time crunch so this definitely slowed down our day and made us late to activities we had planned! I only had one day to spend there and lost time due to this. I find it very in appropriate to enter rooms when the guest hasn’t checked out! I’m thankful my children were not inside changing!

It's a nice hotel, with good service and a pretty good free breakfast. Unfortunately the room had a fatal flaw. In our room (with two beds and a sleeper sofa, suitable for 4+ people) the bathroom was absolutely *tiny*. Like on a cruise ship or something. The door opens into the bathroom and sweeps the only available square of floor space, so it's challenging to even get in and close the door. There's hardly anywhere to hang towels or put your clothes when showering. It sounds like a minor complaint, but with several people in the room it caused constant frustration throughout our stay. We will avoid this hotel in the future for that reason alone.

We read some of the bad reviews and do not understand where they stayed. The hotel is a bit outdated but a great value for the room, everything was clean and nice breakfast was what we expected and very consistant with most hotels that offer free breakfast. The lobby atmosphere was great Dee our check in gal was very pleasant the wife and I were going to come back one evening and hang out, watch tv and chat with Dee. "We got busy and or tired so didnt get to". We travel at least 8 week to 10 weeks a year and experience alot of different situations all over the world and this experience was very good. Best to all.
