The people who own this place are amazing and will go above and beyond to help you. It is a new place with so much potential as it grows. The location is great for hitting the slopes and just a jump to Downtown Idaho Springs. It’s clean and easy access to all mountain activities. Within range for pricing compared to other campgrounds in Colorado. I only seen one bad review that was obviously mentally unstable individual. Compared to most campgrounds the owners at this facility are 5 stars + in my book. Great location, super clean facilities. It’s a new Campground in progress and I look forward to seeing what it becomes on my next visit. Enjoy:)
Idaho Springs RV Park. ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! The park is well-maintained and located in a safe, public area while still offering a peaceful, backcountry feel. The bathrooms and showers were spotless—honestly, they felt like something out of a five-star hotel and were cleaned daily. Jason and Deanna are truly salt-of-the-earth people—kind, helpful, and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an RV spot or campsite.
We moved in upon week two of the park opening. Yet it still has a few things to be completed, this has been, so far, one of our favorite places to stay. We are on the wooded side, nicely shaded for summer months. Owners are VERY accommodating, need propane, they fill immediately. Questions, they answer immediately, they are going above and beyond to make this a great place to stay. Bath house is nice! I am excited to hear laundry will be available soon. Lighting has been installed for walking, may need a few more but we are super happy with the park. Very roomy lots! Concrete pads for RV and plenty of room to park two vehicles. We have a 42' camper and both car and truck fit in front. We also have a pet fence with PLENTY of room between us and any neighbors. Absolutely beautiful scenery. I70 runs along side, you can hear the noise but it's not overwhelming at all! Worth the time and money to stay here. Update review once we depart.....
After a long day of travel and searching for a spot to stop with three generations in tow, we found Idaho Springs RV Resort and Campground. It was so conveniently located off Interstate 70, that we didn’t lose any time getting there or leaving in the morning. It was easy to find and get in and out of. The owners were welcoming and shared how excited they are to finally be able to open part of their site for guests while they are completing the other half. The location was so convenient, and the noise from the roadway blended into the background and was less that I had anticipated given the close proximity to the highway. It didn’t keep anyone up, even the super sensitive sleepers at their tender ages of 1 and 3. Although some amenities are still being worked on, the bathrooms and shower rooms are beautiful, with plenty of space to shower the little ones and keep our belongings dry. The driveways are freshly paved and the concrete pads to park our camper on are perfectly level, which made for such an easy set up. The mulch surrounding the concrete pad and driveway is fresh and just added to the charm of a little spot to stop nestled in pine trees and boulders. The Northern Lights put on a spectacular show that was visible with no light pollution right from our site. It’s a long way from home, but I would love to stop in again in the future. I am so excited to see what everything will look like for this family owned business.
They sell propane on-site! That was really helpful. The campground is pet friendly. It also has really good water pressure lol. The owners were so kind and suggested a great place in town to have breakfast. We camped here for a week over Christmas 2024. The campground is immaculate and beautiful. If you go here during warm months, there are a lot of exciting activities you can do nearby.
