Idyllwild Bunkhouse

This is a great, clean and quite little hideaway. Even though it is off the road, it is surreal and gorgeous. I would love to come back. It's perfect for a romantic get away, yoga retreat, personal vacation or just a place to rest for the night. Vicky, Raj and Debbie were amazing. This will certainly be a place I will return too!

Very nice setup depending on what room you get. You can go cozy with basic essentials or go for more. It is also a .4mile walk to town if you wanna have a brisk walk and enjoy the environment. I'm definitely coming back for this lovely experience.

This place double books its rooms -- I booked for Valentines Weekend one month in advance and they double booked the room I got and somehow blamed it on me and the booking website while also admitting this happens with them often because they're not very tech savvy with handling online bookings (this is what the owner said himself, he's not helpful). Would highly recommend staying somewhere else and double checking any bookings because they said they get this wrong often. The room I booked was listed with pictures and amenities, like balcony, fireplace and kitchen. They wanted to offer me a room with a microwave and no fireplace, kitchen or balcony with view.

The front desk closes at 5:30 pm. We stayed ina room with a loft. The page said one bed in the loft but a photo has two beds. This room only have a shower no bathtub. The room has a small bathroom, a closet, a kitchen and small outside patio. Cables are everywhere and light fixtures are old. Towels are old and rough. The room has two oil heaters that are enough to keep main room warm. The four chairs and two small tables in a patio in the back. Two chair and a table are by the entrance door.

Went away for the weekend and absolutely loved the town and this bunkhouse. Vickie was incredibly sweet and helpful. Love that it’s pet friendly. The views from the back patio make the bunkhouse a perfect getaway spot. Will be returning in the future.
