Stayed for one night en route to visit friends in New Bern. A perfect location west of Wilmington, privately owned by friendly/helpful entrepreneur, Brian. This was a great find as there are not many other campgrounds around unless you want a KOA or ‘traditional’ RV park - this place has an overland travel feel, set among pine trees and nice forest walk at the back. Close to main road but not too close (ie. It is still peaceful here). Big rig friendly, animals allowed, and cabins to stay if you don’t camp. In the process of building their pool, nearly finished. Laundry ($5/load) and very clean/hot showers. Gravel pitches with picnic tables and fire pit. Worth the money.

We spent two nights as we were needing a weekend getaway from the hustles of daily life. Upon arrival, Bryan greeted us with a welcoming smile and continued making sure our stay was pleasant. It is a beautiful campground; owner advised they are working on adding more amenities which will make it even better. We stayed in a cabin with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with linens provided. I highly recommend giving In the Pines a try, you won’t be disappointed – the customer service is amazing and rates are reasonable. Looking forward to booking another stay.

In The Pines RV and Cabin Village was so much fun for our family! The kids love the bouncing pad, swimming pool and outdoor games. The camp store had the basics covered and our kids loved picking out a geode to crush. What a fun visit!

Cleanest, nicest campground I’ve ever experienced!! The bathhouse feels like a luxury home. They’re clean and so modern, double points for the nice shower heads. The owners are absolutely the best. They’re kind and remember who you are! They always are sure to say hi when they pass. This campground offers a great playground, a bounce pad, walking trails, cabins, full RV hookups, and a cute general store. The laundry area is clean is kept up. I walk to the bathhouse alone to shower, and I feel safe. Great lighting and it’s extremely quiet here. You’ve got multiple beaches in a short drive. All the sites have a little fire pit too! Definitely an amazing, clean, growing resort. Can’t wait to see what else they do in the future!

So after a 10 day venture to another campground in the Myrtle Beach area, we came home not far from this campground. Well after the snow of Jan. ‘25 we couldn’t get our camper backed into our spot at our house. So we called Bryan who’s the owner and asked if we could get a spot for a few nights while we worked on getting some crushed asphalt to put down for our camper pad. He was super helpful and allowed us to do our 2-3 night stay day by day since we weren’t sure when we could get it done. Bryan is super friendly and I would recommend this small campground. They do have the ability to expand what they already have. If I could give 10 stars I would. Highly recommend.
