Customer Reviews
5 stars isn't enough for Indian Boundary Campground! We camped here for the first time last weekend with another family on loop c. Our loops campground hosts were friendly, informative, and very attentive of our loop. The lots are all set up nicely with space for campers as well as tents. They come equipped with a large picnic table, a firepit with cooking grate and a pole perfect for lights. Our kids loved riding bikes and scooters around the loop and the trails. Although the severe storms made the sand a sticky, mud-like mess, the kids enjoyed the sandy beach area of Indian Boundary Lake. I personally have not been in lake water in over 10 years but enjoyed swimming here with the kids. The water is clean and not too deep! The beach does get very crowded, so make sure you go early and grab your spot. Very safe. Law enforcement does keep an eye on the area and does enforce their alcohol prohibited law! Our families enjoyed fishing at the dock and at the dam. We were told they had just restocked with 7000 catfish but no one caught anything except tiny bluegill and sunperch. The campground general store is also great! Friendly owners and stocked with everything you could possibly need. We look forward to camping again! FYI: if you've never been to this area, be prepared to be completely unplugged from technology as there's no cell service which goes out around 20 minutes before you arrive. Made the trip even better!
This is one of my favorite campgrounds. I love loop A&B. Loop D has too much road noise for me, but it's doable when other sites aren't available. The camp host are fabulous. They are always willing to help you. The new reservation process is awful. Whoever decided on the process in place should be replaced.
This place was amazing! Quiet and unspoiled lake in a natural setting without the gaudy lake homes to ruin the scenery. The mountains rise up dramatically from the lake giving it a surreal look. Also no motorized craft except electric trolling motors so the lake stays quiet and calm.
This is definitely a must reserve ahead of time campground right now. Great place to camp and fish in the lake. Not too far from a lot of attractions including Cherehola Skyway, Blue Ridge Parkway, Gatlinburg, etc. All sites have electric and water is close as well as restrooms with showers. There is a on site General Store and the 2 people that work there are great. They have kayaks and paddle boards to rent as well and a walking trail that follows the edge of the entire lake that's 3.1 miles. Will definitely be going back again!
Beautiful calming relaxing beautiful spot will be back again. The people in the store are very nice and friendly!!
Large campsites, clean bathhouse's and the general store has everything you need in case you forget something. Friendly hosts and the park has everything you need. Beach for swimming or just laying in the sun, trails for hikers, a beautiful lake for kayaks and or fishing, areas with volleyball or horseshoes and more. Be advised the sites have electricity only and most are setup for 30 amps . Each site is $20.00 a night which is fantastic. Great location for long drives through the Smokey Mountains and beautiful mountain views.
