This campsite was absolutely worth the money! Quiet (enough) and close to the interstate so easy stop and cheaper than a hotel. Didn't get to pay on the way in since I wasn't sure which site I'd stay at, but the volunteer very kindly showed up early to collect and was very understanding! 10/10 would stay again.
Hello! My wife and I are camp hosts here! We love this place and sharing it with you! Thank you for leaving comments. Please note: sites 33 and 35 are great for tents but not really suitable for most camping vehicles due to incline. Also, the south slope campground site 27 is suitable for tent and small pop up campers only. Thank you! Look forward to seeing you!
It was quiet. The restrooms and showers were clean. Our spot was shaded with 30amp electric. There is no water hookups, though there are water spigots scattered about the campground to get water. We filled gallon jugs for handwashing.
Love the campsites. Each one is unique. Was impressed with the cleanliness of the restrooms and showers. It would be nice to have more than one shower in the facility tho. Had to wait in line a few times. Great job to the staff!
This campground was so clean and well maintained! The bathroom and shower were clean, but there wasn’t soap at the sink. The lake is gorgeous! The site is very big and no neighbors near. Only down side was hearing the highway.
Well maintained. Feels like you're deep in the forest. Clean restrooms too. Camp hosts do great job here.
This is a beautiful campground. The sites are large, offer some privacy and are set in a mature pine forest. Restrooms are clean and well kept. I would rate 5 stars, but I cannot. Blowers ran non-stop the second day we were here. The worst was at 3:48 am, Wednesday morning when a trash truck went through and emptied dumpsters. 3:48 am! I know it's one small thing, but I don't think I'll be back. Sad
