Indian Creek Campground Introduce

Welcome to Indian Creek Campground, a part of the Campgrounds & RV Parks category located near Nyssa, Oregon (address: Nyssa, OR 97913).

The environment of Indian Creek Campground is characterized by desert scenery, featuring plants and wildlife unique to this type of landscape. The campground is situated just past Gordon Gulch Creek Park and a boat launch and docks, making it convenient for water-related activities.

Based on visitor reviews, Indian Creek Campground is described as a great little and quiet location, as it is situated at the end of the road. However, it is noted to be very open with zero privacy or cover. While one review suggests the presence of cabins for rent on-site, this needs to be confirmed with the campground directly.

In terms of services and features, Indian Creek Campground offers a boat ramp that remains open even at very low water levels, making it a great launch location. The campground provides three vault toilets, which were reported to be clean, as well as a good fish cleaning station. It is important to note that, contrary to some online information (possibly the state's website), there are no showers available at Indian Creek Campground. Showers are located at McCormick Campground and were reported to be cold as of September 1, 2021.

The park host and Oregon State Parks staff are mentioned as being super friendly. If you plan to bring dogs, be aware that goat head weeds are prevalent in the area, so keeping pets on a leash is strongly advised to prevent discomfort and the need for prolonged removal of these weeds.

For local users in Taiwan planning a camping trip to the Nyssa, Oregon area, Indian Creek Campground offers a quiet desert camping experience with convenient access to a boat launch and fishing amenities. Be aware of the open environment with no privacy or shade and the absence of on-site showers. If cabin rentals are of interest, it is recommended to inquire directly with the campground for availability and booking information. Great little campground located just past the Gordon Gulch Creek Park and the boat launch and docks. I do believe there are cabins for rent on site. It desert scenery, and as such, the plants and wildlife are unique to this area. As always, leave no trace, leave it better than you found it, and enjoy 😉.

Quiet, as it’s the end of the road, and it’s very open (zero privacy or cover). No showers here, even though the state’s website claims there are - those are at McCormick and they’re “cold” showers as of 9/1/21. Park host and Oregon State Parks staff are all super friendly. Boat ramp is open, even at really low water, and it’s a great launch location. 3 vault toilets were all clean and a good fish cleaning station. If you bring dogs, keep them on a leash, because the goat head weeds are everywhere and you’ll be picking them for days.

Always a fun time camping with the family! Kids love to swim and paddle. Took the boat up to Leslie for a nice boat ride and caught some fish.

We had cabin B and it was really nice; clean, very attractive, one bedroom with a porch, water, electricity, fire pit and picnic table; really loved it! This area doesn't have hiking or mountain bike trails, goat heads all over .. huge fish, beautiful fish cleaning facility, boat launch ...

I love cabins at this campground, but it's only 2 of them. I have families who would love to go there with us, but we need 2 more at least. We'll we have travel trailer so we can take it but we love to haul boat to that incredible place. Other families can stay in cabins still not enough.🤣😆 Of course would be nice if there would be showers, but we had outdoor one, so it's ok.
