Indian Creek Campground

This is our all time favorite camping spot! I can't give them enough stars... Fantastic location, best camp sites, best camp store, best restrooms, and cleanest campground everywhere. We book a year in advance so we can get our favorite spot that looks down the creek. As you can see from the pictures of my daughter I attached; I've covered many trips with my review... We love Indian Creek Campground and have so many memories that I already treasure so much! You will not be disappointed camping here!

The cleanest campgrounds I have ever been to. The bathhouse is extremely clean. Shower stalls are excellent and private with plenty of room. Have been several times and will continue going. The staff are very helpful and polite. The best campground I have ever been to. I have been to many.

Checked with management two days before we were due to be there because of the hurricane that came thru. I spoke to a guy who said yes they were open and due to the storms that I could upgrade to another site free of charge. The wife was excited. I was going to pay the remaining balance in cash upon arrival. So we got their before their posted closing time but it was not open. A gentleman did help us who did work there. I told him I needed to pay my bill and he informed me they did it already on my card. I wasn't going to do it on my card due to the fact their reservation link charged over 4 dollars " inconvenience fee" but I got stuck not only with that but I was charged for an upgrade I was told would be no charge. Of course no one could help then. So I went to the office the next day to inquire. The woman told me no he never does that and while I was still in the camp store where I could hear. She stated that she spoke to him and he said no. total BS. My wife made the comment that she wouldn't recommend the place to which the women responded thats fine we do plenty of business. Also they state they have Internet . Which so far has been a big fat lie as well. It is non existent doesn't work. I mentioned it as well I was told you have to go to the bath house as their business wifi overpowered the guest internet and that's the only way to get it. Again total BS and an outright lie been here 24 hours already still no Internet. Yet their office has plenty. My biggest complaint is the out right lies told. Including the internet. There are plenty of campgrounds alot closer to Cherokee NC with better sites and working Internet. As far as there upgrade it damn sure wasn't worth the price difference save your money and go elsewhere. If they will lie and cheat over what they said and do they will cheat you in any way they can. For any that say I'm mad. Yes I am but I have the proof and will gladly share it with whoever wishes to see it.

TOP NOTCH!! I am on the last night of my 11 night stay. I am traveling from Colorado to New Hampshire with my travel trailer and my dog. It was meant to be our epic adventure to make a loop through North Carolina and up the coast to Long Island, etc. This was the first time where I actually unhitched the camper. The next morning when I went to drive my truck, I noticed there was something horribly wrong. Long story short, I had a defective wheel bearing and had to take it to the shop for repairs. It was an 11 day stay instead of 2 because they had to order parts. Judy, Janet, Jon, Evelyn, and everyone at this campground has been super helpful and accommodating. I had to move 2 times but I did not have reservations so it was to be expected. In a way it was kind of nice to move because this campground has many unique spots. It truly is an amazing place. It is a long way from home, but if I do make the trip out this way again, I will be certain to come here. There is so much to offer and the people here really are the best.
