Indian Creek Campground is perfectly situated at 314 Indian Creek Park Rd, Coolin, ID 83821, USA. This prime location places it directly on the shores of the magnificent Priest Lake in the northern panhandle of Idaho. The address on Indian Creek Park Road ensures direct and convenient access to the campground facilities once you arrive in the charming lakeside community of Coolin.
For Idaho residents, accessing this stunning destination involves a scenic drive into one of the state's most beautiful natural areas. From Coeur d'Alene, a major hub in North Idaho, the journey to Coolin typically takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, winding through picturesque forests and along the shores of other beautiful lakes. From Boise, the state capital, the drive is considerably longer, usually around 7 to 8 hours, requiring a full day of travel. However, for those in the northern half of Idaho, especially around Spokane (just across the border) or Sandpoint, it's a very manageable drive for a weekend or extended stay, typically under an hour from Sandpoint.
The access roads to Priest Lake and the campground itself are generally well-maintained, with paved roads throughout the campground, as noted by reviewers. This makes navigation easy for all types of vehicles, including large RVs and trailers. While Coolin is a smaller lakeside community, it provides basic services, and the campground's own well-stocked store further minimizes the need to leave the park for supplies. This combination of remote natural beauty and convenient access makes Indian Creek Campground a highly desirable and practical choice for Idahoans seeking a premier lake camping experience.

This is an awesome camping area, kinda far from Sacramento, but visiting relatives and camping with them is always nice. Great place to swim, water is very clear and warm.
Loved it. Got super packed on the weekend. Smoke got thick but it was still so nice. Fishing license is expensive for 2 days we paid $35 per person. But whatever.
I was very surprised at the large selection of items at the store. It was very well stocked with foods, beverages, souvenirs, camp and camper supplies. The prices were reasonable and the service was outstanding, helpful, quick, and very cheerful.
