4 stars only because of the steep narrow winding road on the way down to the dock. Bigger boats would not be able to pass other cars so you would need to block traffic just to go down the hill to the dock. Once you get there it's wonderful! They have a huge stocked ship store along with the nicest cleanest restrooms/showers I have ever seen anywhere! Private glass showers that are heated or cooled depending on the weather. Plus they allow you to fish off the dock when they aren't busy.

Good price on boat rental, friendly staff, clean bathrooms and nice size parking lot. Disappointed the tie out ropes were very short, if we hadn't brought our own it would have been impossible to dock somewhere to swim. Also the boat was quiet slow with no trim, we rented the same boat at a different marina same size engine much faster.

My husband and I had stayed at Indian Hills resort many many years ago when our kids were little. Had a good experience that we remember and decided to try them again. I called and spoke with Toby? I think, and he had one cabin left the weekend we wanted to go down. It was "last minute" so we decided we would rent the "tiny cabin", the only one available, No. 9. It was tiny, 1 bedroom, a loft and a pull out sofa, and it did sleep 6. We only had two couples so it worked out GREAT! It was a bit tight for 4, but still would have worked if another couple would have come. But the couple that is the earliest risers would need to take the sofa bed because when it was pulled out you could not get around to the hallway to the bathroom and the bedroom. Other than that, it was clean, clean sheets and towels were provided and the staff was very nice and helpful! I would also recommend the restaurant at the marina! Excellent food! We had the pizza one night and had their breakfast sandwiches on Sunday morning, all exceptional! They had a buffet of fish and sides the night we went to get pizza, but we were a little late for that, so we opted for the pizza. We will be back!!

Have been there 3 times in the last 2 years and as long as I keep getting treated the way they've treated me I won't go anywhere else. Have rented both cabin #1 and #2 both are in excellent condition and very clean. Due to my cancer I can't drive so I have a friend take me down there and back, but the marina is easy walking distance from the cabin and they always have someone there to run me up the hill after I'm done fishing. You can't get a better price anywhere on the lake if your going early in the spring for a cabin and boat. Would recommend it to everyone.

If you launch your boat from here, fair warning that the road down the hill to the marina is very tricky with very sharp curves and steep hills. The marina itself is nice although the overnight slips are on a very old wood dock that you have to go around the entire marina in a no wake zone to access.
