Stayed one night. Camp host was friendly but explained that our initial reservation needed to be changed due to issue with hydro not working at booked site. Was provided a pull through and made us pay the difference (even though was there issue). Pull through site had no shade. It was only one night. Bathrooms are dated but clean. Wifi /cell service was sketchy. Beautiful lake and swimming. Small camp ground and quiet.
My family and I stayed at this campground when we traveled to see Kitch-itI-kipi Springs. This was a great spot for location and the Camp Host Alex was amazing! She was very welcoming and helped us make sure we had all information needed. They have a recreational hall and bathrooms that are a little dated BUT kept up nicely. The lake is gorgeous and there were kayaks available, I believe for rent. The camp lots were big enough for our tents and vehicle. We will stay here again if we’re in the area.
Exceeded my expectations, we booked a tent site last minute on HipCamp. We arrived late around 9pm. There was an envelope waiting with detailed directions and a map. We were greeted at our campsite by the staff person who offered us a better site closer to the scenic lake, and firewood. Very pleasant to interact with and helpful. The campground is pretty clean, easy to navigate. There’s a recreation room with games, bathrooms with hot shower, and appeared all the sites have water and electricity. They have WiFi but seemed kind of in and out. I just used my regular mobile service. There is lake access, and is less than 10 minutes from Kitch-iti-kipi. There is a designated grassy section for tent sites with a great view of the lake. The grounds seem to cater more to RVs, and the RV sites appeared to have all the hook ups so if you are an RV traveler this might be good for you as well. The campers seemed respectful to one another and at night was calm and quiet. Overall great experience and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
We stayed for 2 nights in our 42 ft motorhome. Nice large site and the lake was beautiful. Very close to the popular Kitch-iti-kipi. Alex was a very kind host and helpful. Only downfall for us was very low water pressure 25 PSI.
I never leave negative comments but I feel like someone like me would want to know these things. There are apparently more than one set of camp hosts that take care of the campground. The older couple were very nice. However the other camp hosts came in and bombarded my mom when she was at the campsite by herself demanding that we take our tent down that was on our lot (which I was not aware we weren’t allowed to have) three days after we had been at our site and said that I never notified them I had 5 people not four (which I did when I called to reserve) and they need their $1.50 extra a day ASAP. Our lot was very small for a 30 footer and was backed right up to then laundry facilities so there was no privacy what so ever. The campground is a lot of seasonal campers and already have their own sense of community and make you feel like an outsider when coming in. I have been camping all my life and have never felt so uncomfortable at a campground.
very nice little campground on a beautiful lake . I had a great time !
