We enjoy this campground very much. I would definitely recommend looking at site photos. It was hot during our stay but if you had shade and the lake breeze it was better. They also offer activities for campers.
Looking for a great place to camp for a weekend or a week this is the spot for you. they do have plenty of sites to chose from make sure you do research on your site you pick out. The fishing is pretty good in the canals. They do have boat rentals which are high in price to get on the lake. There are plenty of restaurants around town for adults and kids. This year the go carts and put put are reopened so go enjoy the fun.
Indian Lake State Park Campground is a large, enjoyable park. The staff and camp hosts are friendly and helpful. The campground has lots of amenities, including a nice sized playground that is centrally located. They have many programs like movie night, puppet shows, and breakfasts that are put on by the camp hosts. There are kayak rentals, as well as places to launch your own.
My family enjoys this campground. The pool is fantastic. We love the Perry's Ice Cream and make sure we get some every day. We typically stay during the week as it is less busy and well most people are not considerate of others. I do not take points off because that is not the campgrounds fault that people are rude. The bathrooms and showers are your typical campground bathroom and shower. They get cleaned each morning.
We went camping there last year. It's a big park. We took our little bass boat out for the first time. The kids had a lot of fun there. We are definately going back. The park could definately be better if the state of Ohio would invest more money in the state parks. As it is, the park has friends that raise money to do projects--like a mini golf course.
