What a gem! This place is quiet and peaceful. Hardly anyone is here on the weekend. There are bathrooms that are very clean and lit at night. There are 20amp power supply at the sites. A few areas are available for water.
Nice state park and campground. Lots to do in the area within an hour or so driving distance. Restrooms are clean and sufficient but showers although clean and hot, are in desperately short supply at Indian Lake State Park.
2 camp sites south unit and west unit. We stayed at west. The west side has 6 wheel shaped sites with 12 camping sites at each wheel. We stayed at #26, which was more open above so we would get sun. We have solar on our 5th wheel so the 20 amp service was fine. H2o comes from water spickets that are place in different areas. So you need to fill your water there. There is a picnic and beach area away from the sites but not far. Garbage and recycling at each unit. You must go see the "Big Spring" at Palms Book State Park a few mile away. Check it out. Spent $20.00 per night. Stayed 3 nights. We stay again.
Stated at the rustic west campsite. Mostly quiet. Not as many amenities as the south campground, but less crowded. Water and electric available and outhouses. Very friendly camp host!
The vaulted toilets wouldn't flush, no internet, nice people everywhere, lots of trump stickers, new campers, new trucks, lots of wild life, not a single protester?
